Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte som anvendes for å fremstille et permanent beskyttelsessjikt på edelmetalloverflater ved belegging med oppløsninger på polysilazanbasis. Fremgangsmåten for belegging av overflater av edelmetall eller edelmetallegeringer med en oppløsning inneholdende et polysilazan med formel (1) hvor n er slik at polysilazanet oppviser en antallsmidlere molekylvekt på 150 - 150.000 g/mol, samt et oppløsningsmiddel og en katalysator, som er kjennetegnet ved at før beleggingen med polysilazanoppløsningen påføres det på gjenstanden som skal belegges en svovelholdig primer på silanbasis for å forbedre vedhenget. Videre er det beskrevet belegg som er fremstilt med den ovenfor omtalte fremgangsmåten.
