A fluid outlet line (44) is coupled to receive fluids from the gas pump outlet (24) and the multiphase pump outlet (38). The system is arranged such that during a first stage of a well startup process when the inlet fluid is primarily gas, the inlet fluid is fed to the gas inlet line (8) and during a second stage of the well startup method when the inlet fluid is primarily multiphase fluid, the inlet fluid is fed into the inlet fluid.
