Abstract
Prosess for å produsere tynnplater av magnesiumlegering, der legeringen inneholder i vektprosent opptil 2,0 % Al, opptil 2,0 % Zn, opptil 1,0 % Mn, mellom 0,1 og 1,0 % SJ (sjeldne jordartsmetaller), opptil 0,05 % av hvert av grunnstoffene Fe, Cu og Ni, og resten Mg, der - legeringen støpes kontinuerlig i en prosess for dobbeltvalsestøping som danner et bånd eller en støpt tynnplate som er nesten ferdigprodusert, med kjøletakt på mellom 100 og 1000 K/s og deretter plastisk deformering i valseåpningen eller valseangrepet med utgangstemperatur <350 ?C, - den støpte tynnplaten eller båndet av legeringen forvarmes til en varmvalsingstemperatur på mellom 350 og 450 ?C for å oppnå omkrystallisering, og - den forvarmede tynnplaten eller båndet av legeringen deretter varmvalses i ett eller flere trinn til sin endelige tykkelse og med utgangstemperatur >150 ?C og med kornstørrelse <30 mikron.
