Abstract
Sesjonstjenester blir brukt i et datanettverksmiljø for å påføre spesifikk behandling på en utveksling av data mellom prosesser. I et frådløst kommunikasjonsnettverk gir en enkelt frådløs link (28) typisk delt blant mange brukere (P1-P3) via frådløse kanaler, som er allokert og svitsjet blant brukeme på en behovsbasis. Pakker sendt over den trådløse linken (28) må signaleres og merkes i samsvar med dette for å initiere og anvende sesjonstjenesten for de tiltenkte pakkene som omfatterstrømmen (F1-F3).
