Abstract

Separasjon av flytende og/eller faste komponenter fra en flerfasefluidstrøm som passerer gjennom en supersonisk fluidseparator, økes ved injisering av et overflateaktivt stoff i fluidstrømmen som passerer gjennom separatoren. Spruten injiseres fortrinnsvis via et injeksjonsrør som har et positivt eller negativt elektrisk potensial, mens én av veggene av separatorhuset har et motsatt elektrisk potensial, slik at den injiserte sprut og eventuelle væskedråper og/eller partikler som dannes rundt de injiserte kjerner, bringes til å strømme mot den elektrisk ladede vegg.
