Abstract
En elektrisk pumpe er først tilveiebrakt for bruk i et borehull. Pumpen (100) omfatter en stator (120) og et statorhus (110) samt et anker (130) og et ankerhus (136). Statorhuset og ankerhuset angir konsentrisk nestede rørformede legemer. Ankerhuset er utformet til å tillate gjennomstrømning av produksjonsfluider. Ifølge ett aspekt er stator og anker satt sammen i sammenkoplingsbare og ombyttbare seksjoner kalt "moduler" (122, 132) som kan festes sammen i serie. Ifølge ett aspekt er den elektriske drift av spoler inne i statoren beskyttet mot individuell spolekortslutning eller svikt ved at de snarere er parallellkoplet enn seriekoplet. I tillegg kan hver modul være parallellkoplet. På denne måte vil en svikt i én statormodul ikke resultere i svikt i en annen statormodul. I en utførelse av den herværende oppfinnelse er ventilene (150, 160) i pumpen i stand til å hentes ut med kabel, uten at hele produksjonsstrengen trekkes ut.
