Abstract
Utjevning av mottakersignaler i en digital- mottaker, med hjelp av en utjevningskrets (18) (DFE: Decision Feedback Equalizer). Mottakersignalet er endimensjonalt eller kan transformeres til en slik kon- stellasjon (for eksempel innenfor modulasjonstypene BPSK, GMSK, OQPSK). Utjevningskretsens overfør- ingsfunksjon har koeffisienter som blir bestemt slik at en estimeringsverdi for en kompleks feilfunksjons kvadrerte realdel blir søkt brakt til et minimum, og det er altså ikke den egentlige og komplette feilfunksjon som tjener som optimeringsbasis. Beregningen for å gi optimal utjevning kan følgelig reduseres til en real- verdiberegning, filterkoeffisientene for utjevnings- kretsens overføringsfunksjon kan også holdes reelle, og en egnet slik utjevningskrets finnes lettere.Equalization of receiver signals in a digital receiver, using an equalization circuit (18) (DFE: Decision Feedback Equalizer). The transfer function of the equalization circuit has coefficients which are determined so that an estimation value for a squared component's squared real part is sought to be minimized, and thus it is not the actual and complete error function that serves as an optimization basis. Accordingly, the calculation to give optimum equalization can be reduced to a real value calculation, the filter coefficients for the transfer function of the equalization circuit can also be kept real, and a suitable such equalization circuit is more easily found.
