Description
The invention relates to a device for the destruction of paper and cardboard, comprising a vessel open on the upper side which is fed with raw material to be destroyed, e.g. from a paper machine located above, and is removed destroyed from there by means of a pump, and at least two destruction units, preferably rotating rotors, attached to one wall of the vessel. A similar device is used under large paper machines for the destruction of paper or cardboard that has been left over, e.g. as trimmings. Above the device, there are control elements designed as chutes, which guide the paper and cardboard to be destroyed from the paper machine to the open vessel on the upper side. On one side of the vessel there are destruction units which are made up of rotors. In most cases, the rotors are two in number and they both have their own drive motor. The rotors are currently placed next to each other at the same height from the bottom of the vessel, and their axes are parallel. Thereby, the wall of the vessel where the rotors are placed is straight at least when viewed from above. On the outside of the vessel, between the rotor shafts, there is usually an outlet pump for the destroyed mass.
However, today's technology is fraught with several disadvantages, one of which is that the destructors under wide paper and cardboard machines are themselves wide, so that the utilization of the flow during the destruction of paper or cardboard is not sufficiently efficient, but requires a lot of energy for a good destruction result must be achieved. Furthermore, the space between the drive shafts of the rotors is very small, so that only a limited space is available for the discharge pump of the destroyed mass. As the width of the current straight-walled destructors increases, cardboard destruction becomes expensive, as the rotors placed at the straight wall require a variety of support structures, as the tub is not rigid in itself.
The purpose of the invention is to provide a device for the destruction of paper and cardboard, which does not have the above-mentioned disadvantages and which is thus more advantageous to manufacture and flow-technically better designed than the currently known devices. The characteristic feature of the device according to the invention is that the straight lines that run via the axis lines of the rotors intersect at least in one projection.
The biggest advantages can be mentioned the rigidity of the construction and the additional space that is achieved between the axles for the pulp pump. The invention shall be described in more detail below in connection with an exemplary embodiment and with reference to the drawings, where fig. 1 is a side view partially in section along the line I-1 in fig. 4 of a device according to the invention for the destruction of paper and cardboard, fig. 2 is a view of the device in fig. 1 seen from the left, fig. 3 is. a plan view of a device from prior art, and fig. 4 is a plan view of the device according to the invention.
In fig. 1 shows a device according to the invention for the destruction of paper and cardboard. The device is preferably placed under a large paper machine, where material to be destroyed is fed into the vessel 1 via the vessel's open upper part. Above the tub, for this purpose, a guide member 2 is designed at an angle.

Rotorenes 3 drivmotorer 4 er anbragt ute ved rotorenes aksler utenfor karet. with the destruction units 3, which preferably consist of rotating rotors. In this design example, there are two rotors and they are located at the same height and in the same wall of the vessel 1. The rotors' 3 drive motors 4 are located outside the rotors' shafts outside the vessel.
På fig. 2 er det vist en anordning ifølge fig. 1 In fig. 2 shows a device according to fig. 1
It is shown that an outlet pipe 5 for destroyed mass is connected between the shafts of the drive motors and the rotors at the wall of the vessel. This is connected to a mass discharge pump which is not shown in the figures, but which is preferably placed between said axles.
In fig. 3 shows a known destructor seen from above. There, the rotors' axes 3 are parallel. Thereby, the wall 6 in the tub 1 is also straight. In fig. 4, on the other hand, shows a device according to the invention viewed from above. As can be seen, the 3 extensions of the rotors intersect. The wall 6 is bent so that the vessel 1's widest point is at the middle of it.
For a person skilled in the field, it is clear that the various adaptations of the invention are not limited to the examples shown above, but that they can vary within the scope of the following claim.
