Description

Denne oppfinnelse vedrører et lokk til å lukke en beholder
av terraosplastisk kunststoff for akkumulatorceller, hvis kant oppvarmes og sammensveises langs sin horisontale underside med den horisontale overkant av beholderen under benyttelse av strålevarme.
For gjensidig tetning mellom cellelokkene og beholderne er det foruten sammenklebning først og fremst benyttet ultralydsveising og speilsveising. Den varme som er nødvendig for smelting kan imidlertid også oppnås som strålevarme eller fra en glødetråd som bringes inntil flatene som skal forbindes. I alle tilfelle er det ønskelige mål å oppnå en pålitelig rund-tetning av cellebeholderen eller blokkassen som også kan utstå ekstreme temperatursvingninger og rystelser.
For ultralydsveising er heh,o;l:de.5,konstruksjoner tidligere kjent med i hverandre gripende' tunger og uthulninger. Konstruk-sjonene er mindre gunstige fordi de svekker gjennomtrengnings-evnen av ultralydbølgene. Ved speilsveising må sveisespeilet for beholderrandens plankontur som skal sveises på lokket være nøyaktig tilpasset og dessuten ha i det minste gjennomløpsåpnin-ger for cellepolene fordi disse rager ut av beholderens indre og over sveiseplanet.
Ved en tildekning av en batterikasse av den art som er vist
i EP 28 116 hvor et sveisespeil er delt opp i fire varmeblad som parvis føres frem fra overfor hverandre beliggende posisjoner til kassens lengde- hhv. bredside, og hvor disse først i arbeids-stillingen, hvor deres forkanter griper inn mellom beholderranden og lokkranden, lukkes til^^-hetering. Ved en særlig utforming av lokkundersiden med føringsstifter for nøyaktig til-pasning av lokket og en noe tilbake anordnet list som forbinder stiftene med hverandre tilveiebringes mellom listen og beholderens innerkant en smal vertikal spalte hvori den flytende mate-rialsmelte kan unnvike fra den egentlige horisontale sveisesone slik at en ytterligere sveisesone dannes der.
Denne kjente arbeidsmetode er p.g.a. den høye automatise-ringsgrad benyttet til ganske ualminnelig stort behov for maskinert og styringsmessig utstyr og bare er egnet til bruk i forbindelse med tykkveggete beholdere eller kar.
Hensikten med denne oppfinnelse er å tilveiebringe en lokk-konstruksjon for termisk forbindelse med tynnveggete lokk og
beholdere som skal skje ved hjelp av en lite krevende gløde-
tråd eller hetebånd, og som er gunstig med hensyn til effekti-vitet og hensiktsmessig og pålitelig når det gjelder tetthet.
Løsningen på denne oppgave fremgår fra karakteristikken i patentkrav 1.
Oppfinnelsen skal forklares nærmere nedenfor ved hjelp av eksempel under henvisning til tegningen, hvor
fig. 1 viser et lokk i samsvar med oppfinnelsen sammen med en tilhørende beholder, begge plassert i stilling for sammensveising, og
fig. la viser i større målestokk et utsnitt fra fig. 1 sett
i oppriss.
Lokket 1 og beholderen 2 på fig. 1 er fremstilt av samme termoplastiske materiale. I samme avstand langs sveisesonen er en glødetråd eller et glødebånd 3 anordnet og opphengt i elektrisk og varmeteknisk isolerende fjærelementer 4 slik at varmeutvidel-sen fordeler seg jevnt over alle lengdeavsnitt hhv. utjevnes ved fjærvirkningen. Således er det særlig under opphetningsperioden mulig å opprettholde like store avstander til arbeidsstykkene.
For en gjennomgående sammensveising av lokk og beholder er det uunngåelig at oppmykningsoperasjonen også omfatter inner-siden av forbindelsen. I samsvar med oppfinnelsen oppnås dette ved hjelp av på undersiden av lokkranden påsprøytede knaster 5 som er fordelt over lokkets omkrets og som under pålegging av lokket på beholderen til og begynne med sikrer en bestemt avstand til lokkets overkant 6. Den forøvrig montasjeriktige plassering av lokket sikres ved hjelp av en rundt lokkets underside forløpende føringslist 7. Denne plassering sikres foruten ved hjelp av den innpasningsnøyaktige innføring av batteri-polene 8 i de tilsvarende lokkrør 9 (forsenket) fordi det mellom lokkrørene og plastpåsprøytningen 10 for polene allerede er til-veiebragt en friksjonskontakt. Knastene står dermed nøyaktig på overkanten av beholderranden og virker som avstandsholdere mellom beholderen og lokket, slik at under opphetningen, varmen som avgis fra hetebåndet, også kan trenge inn mellom delene. Etter den utførte oppmykning av flatene som skal sammensveises
og som også omfatter knastene, presses beholderen og lokket mot hverandre. Knastene blir da plastiske og myke å sammensveises med resten.
Antallet og høyden av knastene er å bestemme slik at spal-ten på alle steder som skal forbindes holdes jevn og stabil under oppvarmingen. Ved sammenpasning på onunantlingen av polene og anslaget fra knastene utjevnes eventuelle små forkastninger i lokket.
På forstørrelsen på fig. la er føringslisten 7 tydelig å
se. Listen bestemmer nøyaktig plasseringen av lokket under på-leggingen på beholderranden 6. Listen treffes direkte i lokkenes høyde og likeså beholderranden og underkanten av lokket av varme-strålingen og sammensveises med disse i det minste i dette om-rådet. Dessuten tjener den som støtte under sammenpressingen.
Hvis lokket og beholderen under opphetningsfasen bare skulle ligge på og i kontakt med hverandre, ville bare en film-aktig forbindelse kunne oppnås mellom de hverandre berørende flater. Denne forbindelse ville da til å begynne med riktignok også være tett, men ville sprekke meget raskt ved mekanisk be-lastning av cellen. En forbindelse som er fremstilt i samsvar med oppfinnelsen sikrer gjennomgående materialsammensveising over hele veggtykkelsen og høy grad av stabilitet.

Claims (1)

  1. Lokk til lukking av en beholder av termoplastisk kunststoff for akkumulatorceller, hvis rand oppvarmes og sammensveises langs sin horisontale underside med den horisontale overkant av beholderen under benyttelse av strålevarme, karakterisert ved at lokket (1) er innrettet til under opphetningsfasen å legges på randen av beholderen (2) med avstand fra dennes overkant (6) ved hjelp av på-sprøytede på undersiden av lokkets rand langs denne fordelte knaster (5), og at knastene er innrettet til etter oppvarmingen under den etterfølgende sammenpressing av lokket og beholderen å plastifiseres og sammensveises med resten av materialet .
