Bij de eindstand is de imeerdruk ( P2) gs-Hjk af ongeveer gelijk aan de zuigkracht ( K ). Hierbij heeft de zuigkop de champignon onwrikbaar vast 20 en wel zodanig dat het bewegen van de champignon t.o.v. de zuigkop is uitgesloten terwijl op de champignon-wortel de plukdruk ( P^) heerst. Enerzijds wordt hierdoor de champignon niet omhoog gezogen zodat beschadiging van de kap van de champignon niet plaats vindt terwijl anderzijds de 25 plukdruk op de champignon zodanig is dat beschadiging hierdoor eveneens uitgesloten is. Door draaiing van de zuigkop komt de champignon vrij van de grond en wordt na te zijn afgesneden afgevoerd.
