Abstract

The mowing machine has a number of rotors on vertical axes and driven by a series of gears enclosed in a box-section frame of iron plate. The spindles of the gears are accommodated in a common support (23) below them for several gears, and mounted in the frame (20). The gears can be in two rows, each gear in one row having a common support with one in the other. The support can be mounted on the bottom of the box-section frame, which rests on the ground. One of the spindles can be supported in the top part of the frame and protrude through it, the knife (1) being mounted on the protruding end.
