Abstract

The machine removes rubbish from under trees, particularly twigs, and has two or more contra-rotating rotors on vertical axes in a frame and equipped with elastic blades to handle the rubbish. The rotors travel over the ground and are equipped with a drive mechanism. Each rotor (16) has a rotary shoe (24) on its shaft, by which it slides over the ground, and a rotary drive to the shoe can be provided, typically from that to the rotor. The shoe can be dish-shaped, with its convex side against the ground, and closed at the top. The frame can have tow arms with rotors on the ends, slewing on the frame and lockable in various positions.
