Abstract

The rack is for use in public cloakrooms etc. having a bar for removable coat hangers and flexible components each lockable separately at one end. The other end of each component(15) is secured to a coat hanger, so that the hanger can be locked to the bar(2) from which it is suspended. The flexible components can be chains, whose ends are locked to the bar by insertion in a hole in it and then sliding into a slot, whereupon the hole is blanked off by the locking device. The chains for two hangers can be accommodated in the same slot, and the complete equipment can be movable.
