Abstract

The baling press has a ram chamber with a longitudinal wall which includes a closable crop inlet opening via which a collection chamber adjacent the press chamber can be connected with the compressing area of the press chamber. An element for closing the filler opening at the press chamber is coupled with the ram and the collection chamber is arranged on the top wall of the ram chamber. The basic profile of the filler opening corresponds to the basic profile of the collection chamber. The collection chamber is positioned above the ram chamber and receives the crop via an elevator.
