Abstract

A profiled plate has a shape comprising a number of ribs running in its lengthways direction and parallel to each other. Between adjoining ribs is a groove with dove-tail cross-section, all grooves being identical. The profile of the cross-section of a groove (3), if turned 180 deg. around its lengthways axis, is virtually identical in shape to the profile of the cross-section of a rib. The width of the floor of the groove (3) is either >= or identical to the width of the upper edge of the rib (2), plus twice the thickness of the plate (1). The profile enables adjoining plates to be pressed on to each other, and to be moved in and out of engagement without expenditure of additional force. The plates are made of metal and are used principally for the preparation of concrete reinforcements or bases.
