Abstract

The cladding assembly is partic. for use as a wall or ceiling covering, curtain or partition. It has a shield (16) of translucent material, behind which are one or more light sources. The sources can be adjustable and lockable in a number of different positions, and mounted on supports which also serve the translucent material. The supports can be oblong components, running between opposite edges of the shield. They can be coupled to trucks sliding along a guide, while the shield is of flexible material. The guide can be used to accommodate cables or other conductors supplying the sources.
