Abstract

Aq. liq. washing agent compsns. are made by dissolving 25-40 wt. % esp. 28-37 wt. % (on totla compsn.) of a mixt. of an alkali metal-, (substd) ammonium or amine alkyl benzene sulphonate with 9-14C and an alkali metal-, (substd) ammonium or aminealkylether sulphate with 10-18 C and the mixt. contg. 1-5 mol. ethylene oxide) in a wt. ratio (sulphonate: sulphate) 4:1 to 8:1 (esp. 6:1) in an aq. medium with the aid of solubilizing system. The presence of a solubilizing system allows high concn. of active ingredients to be used. Prod. is useful as a dish washing agent. The solubilizing system is e.g. a mixt. of ethanol and urea (esp. 2% ethanol and 7-16% urea) or a mixt. of ethanol and Na xylene or toluene sulphonate.
