Abstract

The double-edged safety razor blade assembly consists of a first blade (82) with cutting edges (90,91) and end lips (74), a second blade (81) with cutting edges (88,89) and end lips (70,71), and a flexible spacer blade (80) between the first and second blades. The second blade lies on top with its cutting edges further inward than those of the first, whilst the lips match. A central oblong opening (83,84,85) is provided in all three blades for locating them in the holder. There are first means, such as welds (20-23) connecting the second blade to the spacer, and similar, second means (27-27) connecting the first blade. Oblong perforations are provided in the spacer between the cutting edges and the opening.
