Abstract

Continuous distribution of a gaseous or liq. fluid is effected by a pipe having a succession of distributors; the latter are opened and closed in succession by means of a shuttle travelling inside the pipe. The shuttle is moved by the difference in press. between the fluid in the pipe and the external air, with which contact is maintained at the downstream end of the pipe. After reaching the end of the pipe, the flow direction is reversed and the shuttle travels back, controlling the distribution process on its way.
