Abstract

The opener is designed to be secured to a handle opening (4) in the side of a bottle crate (3). The opener has a first grip part (5) that is passed through the handle opening from the outside of the crate in order to grip against the inside of the crate, and a second grip part (6) that is fixed against the top edge (7) of the crate. The bottle cap is removed by placing the end of the bottle in a hole (9) in the intermediate part (8) of the opener between these two grip parts, and then moving the bottle by hand. An Independent claim is also included for a combination of a crate and the bottle opener.
