Abstract

The device used in agriculture registers the number of insects which is attracted to a specific e.g. golden yellow colour. The unit includes a rectangular plastics support plate (1) with two opposed bent over rims (2, 3), forming U-shaped guides to accommodate a transparent plastics sheet with an adhesive layer on one side. The support is mounted on a rod (6) driven into the soil. The fixture includes a metal angled strip (7) forming an angle 7` 7". The strip has holes (8) enabling the strip to slide over rod (6). Final fixture includes a wing nut/bolt unit (9) and square nut (10) enabling final fixture to the rod (6).
