Abstract

The present invention provides a loose oil palm fruit segregating machine (100) from debris, characterised in that the loose oil palm fruit segregating machine includes (a) at least one tipping chute (102) associated to at least one drum hopper, wherein the at least one tipping chute (102) isfor collecting loose oil palm fruits with debris, (b) at least one hydraulic cylinder (110) with at least one control lever (104), wherein the at least one hydraulic cylinder (110) is used to unload the loose oil palm fruits with debris into the at least one drum hopper, (c) at least one double layer rotating drum (400) comprising at least one inner drum (120) and at least one outer drum (118) associated to the at least one drum hopper, wherein the at least one outer drum (118) separates small debris from the loose oil palm fruits and inner drum (120) separates big size and long fibre debris from the loose oil palm fruits and (d) at least one outlet (122) for receiving cleaned loose oil palm fruits. Also provided is a method for segregating loose oil palm fruit from debris in the loose oil palm fruit segregating machine (100).
