Abstract

An open-type disposable diaper (1) for a low-weight infant weighing equal to or less than 3000 grams includes: leg-circumference elastic members (21) provided along a longitudinal direction in positions on both sides in a lateral direction in a crotch part (1m), the leg-circumference elastic members (21) configured to contract leg openings (HL) along the longitudinal direction; and a waist-circumference elastic sheet (31) provided to extend to both sides in the lateral direction in a back part (1b), the waist-circumference elastic sheet (31) configured to contract a waist opening (HB) in the lateral direction. In a state where the diaper (1) is unfolded, end parts in the lateral direction in the waist-circumference elastic sheet (31) are respectively located at same positions, with respect to the lateral direction, as positions of back-side end parts in the longitudinal direction of the nearest leg-circumference elastic members (21) or located laterally outside the back-side end parts; and with respect to the longitudinal direction, the waist-circumference elastic sheet (31) is arranged to span, in the longitudinal direction, central positions (C11m) in the longitudinal direction in engagement parts (11m) of fastening tapes (11).
