Abstract

[OBJECT] To provide an absorbent article that can suppress discomfort in the crotch and improve wearability, and can suppress leakage of a liquid. [MEANS FOR SOLUTION] A napkin (1) includes: an absorbent body (2)that absorbs a liquid; a top sheet (3) that covers the absorbent body (2) from one side of the absorbent body (2) in a thickness direction; and a back sheet (5) provided to another side of the absorbent body (2) in the thickness direction, the top sheet (3) including a folded back section (32) that has been folded back in each side in the width direction, a tip section (320) of the folded back section (32) being joined to the back sheet (5) with a pair of fourth joining sections (14) aligned in the width direction, the tip section of the folded back section being joined to the back sheet between the absorbent body (2) and the back sheet (5) in the thickness direction, each of the pair of the fourth joining sections (14b, 14c) in a front region (1b) and a rear region (1c) is positioned to outer sides in the width direction than the pair of the fourth joining sections (14a) in a central region (1a).
