Abstract
An air conditioner includes: a housing (1) having an emission outlet (18) opened to a room to emit air; and a fan (4) contained in the housing (1) and sending out the air to the emission outlet (18). The emission outlet (18) includes an inner wall (73) defining a flow path in which the air flows. The air conditioner includes an eddy component generating portion (75) provided to project from the inner wall (73), the eddy component generating portion (75) generating an eddy component at a side of a mainstream of the flow of the air sent out to the emission outlet (18) by the fan. With such a configuration, there can be provided an air conditioner capable of improving a dust suctioning rate while suppressing decrease in dust collecting capability.
