Abstract
A silicon material A for hydrogen gas production includes: silicon particles; and oil content. The oil content is 0.1 weight % to 10 weight % of the silicon particles. A method for producing a silicon material A for hydrogen gas production includes the steps of: preparing silicon waste 108 including silicon particles, oil content and, water; centrifuging or filtering the silicon waste 108 to produce a solid All2 including the silicon particles and the oil content; and a small amount of water; drying the solid A112 to produce a solid B115 including silicon particles and oil content; and mixing water 116 with the solid B115 to produce sludge A117.
