Abstract

POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM There is provided a power supply system capable of supplying much more power to a load in the case of a power failure. A power supply system (1) includes a power generation part (10) capable of generating power by utilizing natural energy, a power storage device (40) capable of charging power from a commercial power source (100) and the power generation part (10), the power storage device (40) being connected to the commercial power source (100) and the power generation part (10). The power supply system (1) supplies power from the power generation part (10), the power storage device (40), and the commercial power source (100) to a specific load (50). The power storage device (40) is capable of charging the power from the commercial power source (100) and the power generation part (10) when the commercial power source (100) is available, and is capable of charging the power from the power generation part (10) while discharging charged power to the specific load (50) when the commercial power source (100) fails.
