Abstract
An Access Point comprising a network management entity is disclosed. The network management entity includes a receiver configured to retrieve capability and configuration data from a plurality of nodes, a processor configured to set up at least one node according to a channelization mode and a legacy protection mode based on the capability and configuration data, and a transmitter configured to transmit, to at least one of the plurality of nodes, at least one set of node-specific configuration data including channelization and legacy protection data based on the capability and configuration data.
