THE DEVICE COMPRISES A TRANSMITTER (7) WHICH TRANSMITS A WAVE MODULATED FROM VIDEO SIGNALS (3) AND AUDIO SIGNALS (4, 5) IN A TELEVISION APPARATUS, AND A RECEIVER (14) WHICH SUPPLIES DEMODULATED SIGNALS TO A SECOND TELEVISION APPARATUS (8). THE TRANSMITTER (7) ADDS AN ADDITIONAL CARRIER MODULATED BY A DIGITAL CODE TO THE TELEVISION SIGNALS, AND THE RECEIVER (14) SEPARATES THIS ADDITIONAL CARRIER, VERIFIES THE CODE AND BLOCKS THE SUPPLY OF THE DEMODULATED VIDEO SIGNAL TO THE SECOND TELEVISION APPARATUS (8) WHEN THIS CODE IS NOT CORRECT. APPLICATION: SUCH A DEVICE PRECLUDES THE INSTALLATION OF CABLES WITHIN A DWELLING FOR THE SUPPLY OF SIGNALS TO A SECOND TELEVISION APPARATUS.
