Abstract
A SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE PASSAGE OF PEOPLE ALONG A CORRIDOR (1), CHARACTERIZED IN THAT SAID CORRIDOR IS FITTED ON ONE OF ITS SIDES WITH LIGHT-SENSITIVE SENSORS (2, 3) WITH EACH SENSOR OCCUPYING A CERTAIN AREAS, THE TWO SENSORS BEING VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER AND THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CORRIDOR BEING FITTED WITH AT LEAST ONE LIGHT SOURCE (4, 5) DIRECTED TOWARDS SAID TWO SENSORS, EACH SENSOR PROVIDING A SIGNAL (A1, A2) RELATED TO THE ILLUMINATED AREA OF THE SENSOR, THE TWO SENSORS (2, 3) BEING CONNECTED TO A PROCESSOR MEMBER (6) WHICH PROVIDES A SIGNAL INDICATING THE PASSAGE OF A PERSON WHENEVER A SIGNAL DERIVED FROM THE SIGNALS FROM THE TWO SENSORS REACHES A PREDETERMINED THRESHOLD (N2).
