Abstract
THE DISCLOSED INVENTION IS DIRECTED TO NOVEL CERAMIC COMPOSITIONS, AND TO STABILIZER COMPOSITIONS FOR USE WITH THOSE CERAMIC COMPOSITIONS. THE CERAMIC MATERIALS ARE FORMED OF RARE EARTH CHROMIUM OXIDES THAT INCLUDE A NOVEL COMBINATION OF STABILIZING COMPOUNDS. THE INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO THE USE OF THE PRESENTLY DISCLOSED CERAMIC COMPOSITIONS IN DEVICES (10, 100) FOR DRYING OR FAST AND EFFECTIVE STERILIZATION OF VARIOUS ARTICLES, AND TO METHODS FOR TREATING A MATERAIL WITH INFRA-RED RADIATION WHICH IS GENERATED FROM SUCH CERAMICS ( 180, 260, 270 ) TO PRESERVE AT LEAST ONE PROPERTY OF THE MATERIAL.
