Description

A BURNER OR TOP OF BURNER THAT INCLUDES A FLAT PANEL LOCKED TO AN EXTERIOR FRAME BY A ENCAPSULATED, MOLDED BY INJECTION, WHICH HAS INTEGRAL FASTENERS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention is directed to a cooker or a burner top that includes a cooker panel or burner top securely secured to an outer frame by a polymeric / copolymeric injection-molded encapsulation. The lining of the frame preferably subtracting at the top a supporting surface, and the encapsulation includes a plurality of integral fasteners each received in an aperture or orifice of a tab of a range, against high or the like. Cookers and burner tops are well known in the state of the art, as evidenced by patents such as U.S. Patent Nos. 4,243,016; 4,453,533; 5,036,831; 5,183,996; 5,185,047; 5,429,114; 5,584,957 and the various patents cited herein, including the patent document of the Federal Republic of Germany (DE 31 10 087). For the most part, these patents disclose a counter-hearth or hearth which includes a polygonal aperture di-insioned slightly larger than that of a glazed ceramic or equivalent panel of a cook top or top burner that is to be mounted on it. A periphery of the counter-hearth or opening generally includes a flange bent downwards with screw holes located at appropriate intervals, representatives of which are illustrated in Figure 1 of U.S. Patent No. 4,453,533. A silicon seal is attached to the peripheral edge of the cooker panel and this silicon seal is adhered to an annular ring of a cross-sectional configuration at right angles as reflected in US Pat. Nos. 5,185,047 and 5,036,831. A series of screws joined with a leg bent down from the annular ring to a flange of the counter, rank or the like through a series of aligned openings having axes arranged horizontally. The disadvantages of such cookers / burner top assembly assemblies have been set forth in the patents immediately noted above and include poor cleaning, lack of a sing aesthetic appearance, additional expense to provide a separate external counter portion, a frame of com assembly to support the glazed ceramic panel, the requirement that the sealant material, sealant or paste material applied between the glazed ceramic panel and the cooker after the glazed ceramic panel is installed in the kitchenette the added material and manufacturing expense associated with these aspects of the kitchen; the preapplication of the sealant followed by curing in the mold, etc. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In regard to the present invention, a cooker panel or a burner top panel is inserted into a mold in internal relation to a counter frame ring, or frame counter frame. The mold is surrounded to form a peripheral cavity that accommodates an innermost peripheral edge of the counter frame ring and an outer peripheral edge of the panel. The polymeric / copolymeric material is injected into the cavity and subsequently cooled to join the counter-frame ring to the kitchen panel. The peripheral edge of the copier panel can be first primed to achieve maximum adhesion between the cooker panel and the solidified or encapsulated injection molded material, but this is not a requirement of the invention. The frame of the counter frame may also include a series of openings with which the encapsulation is locked when the solidification is carried out. Finally, the encapsulation includes integral injection-molded "Christmas tree pin" fasteners, which are fastened in openings of a counter-flange or a flange flange to attach it to the cooker / panel panel of the cabinet. Burner Top The encapsulation process immediately above mentioned essentially integrates the lining ring and the cooker panel or burner top panel through the encapsulation with portions of the encapsulation defining integral fasteners to join the cooker panel / top of burner to a counter, stove or the like. A stove or burner top manufactured in this way can be installed without the need for tools, can be easily removed without the need for tools, and 1 appearance, especially when associated with a counter-hearth or stove, is extremely aesthetic, easily cleanable, and is essentially free of maintenance.
