Description
COHJPHTO DM DISTRIBUTION DI ÜW FLUID OR SOLID PRODUCT
Field of the Invention
The invention 3ß refers to a distribution assembly of a fluid or solid product. The distribution assembly can be used in particular in the cosmetic field for the application of a deodorant, pharmaceutical for the application of repellents for insects, as well as in the fields of glues, paints or waxes. More especially, this distribution assembly is intended for the application of a body deodorant.
Background of the Invention
Document FR-A-2, 713, 060, in the name of the applicant, describes a distribution assembly comprising a container of liquid under pressure, provided with a distribution valve and an application member that includes a porous dome , fixed to the container. This dome is supported by a support mechanically attached to a ferrule attached to the REF: 22770 container. During the application of this assembly on the surface to be treated, the porous dome is soaked in liquid. At the end of the application, a surplus product may remain in the dome and flow along the container to accumulate between the ferrule and the latter. In this way, in the next use, the accumulated product will flow on the surface to be treated in particular when the assembly is tilted. In addition, this surplus product will flow along the wall of the container, at the risk of splashing the user. On the other hand, the container's grip will stain. This drawback also exists for distribution assemblies that include a push-button provided with a spray nozzle. To remedy these drawbacks, different solutions have been considered. The first is to decrease the flow rate of the valve. However, this decrease delayed the output of the product and did not prevent product spills. The second is to increase the stiffness of the valve spring to avoid prolonged actuation of the valve. The user would then feel a sensation of discomfort due to the difficulty of applying the assembly on the surface to be treated. The third solution is to increase the retention volume of the porous dome. However, the product spill phenomenon would only be delayed, without quantitatively diminishing it.
Description of the Invention
The present invention therefore seeks to remedy the drawbacks mentioned above. The object of the present invention is, above all, to propose a distribution assembly as defined above, which avoids the accumulation of product between the cap and the container that runs the risk of soiling the walls of the container, ensuring a good hold of the container. the cap on the container. The applicant has discovered, unexpectedly and surprisingly, that such a result could be obtained by placing on the container a ferrule provided with at least one hole. The subject of the present invention is therefore a distribution assembly of a product comprising a container that includes a product for distribution having an axis of symmetry (X), a member for distributing the product in communication with the container, a cover provided with a cap covering the distribution member fixed in the container, the cover including at least two holes, characterized in that the cover includes a ferrule mounted on the container and that ensures the fastening of the cap on the container, being less one of the indicated holes of the cover located in the ferrule, the two orifices being arranged to produce a circulation of air in the interior volume of the cover. Of course, it is known from the patent application NL-A-8 800 797 a cap for a sprayer comprising a side wall provided in its lower part with two holes provided with safety tabs, which allow to remove the cap from the container with the help of a screwdriver. However, these holes made in the lower part of the side wall of the cap weaken the behavior of the cap on the container, which can then easily detach. In addition, a cap provided with two holes located at the same level of the side wall is complicated to make and expensive. On the other hand, this document does not indicate anything of a circulation of air between these two orifices. Advantageously, at least two holes are located at different heights according to an axis (X) of symmetry of the distribution assembly, in order to ensure a good circulation of air inside the cover. Preferably, at least one hole is located in a wall of the cap. Thus, the cover includes at least d? 3 holes located at different heights according to the axis (X). According to one embodiment of the invention, the wall of the cap can comprise an upper surface and a lateral surface. Each of these surfaces of the cap can include at least one hole. These variants allow to use the orifice often present in the cap to evacuate the trapped air when the user puts the cap back on the container. According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the dispensing assembly according to the invention can include at least one hole in the ferrule and at least one hole in the cap, and preferably in the upper surface of the cap. This arrangement favors good air circulation. In addition, the distribution assembly can include joining means between the distribution member and the ferrule, which allows a comfortable manipulation of the assembly by the user and confers a flexibility of operation. The connecting means may consist of several flexible tabs distributed regularly between the applicator member and the ferrule. To ensure the circulation of air inside the cover, the number of holes present in the cover as well as its size can be diverse. In practice, the cover can include from 2 to 10 holes and its size independently for each hole, can range between 0.5 mm and 10 mm in diameter. The distribution member of the assembly according to the invention can advantageously be an application member having an external application surface. This application organ allows direct application of the product distributed on the surface to be treated. Advantageously, the application member can be made of a rigid or deformable material. For example, the application member may be an open cell foam, a sponge or better a sintered material.
The dispensing member may also consist of a spraying member and, in particular, a push-button provided with a spray nozzle. On the other hand, the container of the assembly according to the invention can be a pressurized container, equipped with a valve for distributing the product provided with a hollow valve stem including an inlet and an outlet of product. However, the container could be a bottle or a manually operated flexible tube. In this case, the distribution member can be fixed directly to the hollow valve stem. According to another variant, the distribution member can be supported by a support, the support being fixed in the hollow valve stem. The hollow rod and / or the support ensure a mechanical connection between the dispensing member and the container. The dispensing assembly of the invention is completely appropriate for the distribution of a body deodorant. Another object of the present invention is also a body deodorant applicator assembly, constituted by a distribution assembly as defined above. The invention consists, apart from the provisions set forth above, in a number of other provisions that will be explained below, with respect to exemplary embodiments described with reference to the appended figures, but which are not in any way limiting.
Figure 1 is an axial section of an application assembly according to a first variant of the invention.
Figure 2 is a section, similar to Figure 1, of an application assembly according to a second variant of the invention.
With reference to the attached figure 1, it can be seen an application assembly designated as a whole by reference 2, which has a symmetry axis X and which includes a container 4, generally cylindrical, pressurized with the help of a propellant gas. This container has at its upper end a valve plate 5 fixed to the container by a crimping lip 6. The valve plate 5 carries, according to the axis X, the distribution valve 8 which, in the case of the present example, is a male valve 20 including an emergent hollow rod 10, This valve is a lateral deformation valve, also called a tilting valve, whose opening is performed by lateral tilting of the rod 10, or an axial pressing valve. The container also contains a liquid product to be dispensed, for example cosmetic. The application assembly 2 further comprises an application member 12 which includes a porous dome 14 made of synthesized material provided with an upper surface 16, slightly pumped, convex towards the outside. This dome also includes a flat lower surface 18 perpendicular to the X axis and a cylindrical lateral surface 20, revolving around the X axis. The lower surface 18 includes at its center, along the X axis, a calibrated orifice 22 allowing the introduction to the X axis. pressure of the free end 11 of the hollow valve stem 10. The application assembly 2 also comprises a cap 24 and a ferrule 42 which plays the cover paper. The cap 24 includes an upper surface 28 and a cylindrical lateral surface 30 of revolution around the X axis. The ferrule 42 includes a cylindrical skirt 44 of revolution about the X axis which is fixed to the container 4 by an annular rim 32, located in the lower end of the skirt 44, which cooperates with an annular groove 34 located in the outer wall of the container at the boundary of the pumped upper part 33 of the container. The upper end of the skirt 44 has an annular shoulder 48 on which 3ß the lower end of the lateral surface 30 of the cap 24 swallows. This arrangement ensures the fastening of the cap on the ring nut 42. The cap 24 and the ferrule 42 thus fixed cover the applicator member 12. The upper surface 28 of the cap includes a hole 36 and the cylindrical skirt 44 of the ferrule 42 is provided with an orifice 38 whose size can be, for example, 2 mm in diameter. These holes, by their arrangement, ensure a circulation of air in the interior volume of the roof. To use the application assembly of the invention, the user removes the cap 24 from the ferrule 42 then exerts a pressure or rests on the upper surface 16 of the porous dome 14. The application member 12 tilts or sinks (depending on the type of valve) and causes, by tilting or sinking the valve rod 10, the opening thereof. The product then diffuses into the porous dome 14 and extends over its upper surface 16. When the user drives the application member 12 too long, an excess amount of product leaves the valve stem 10 and the porous dome 14 becomes saturated of product. The product will then flow along the lateral surface 20 of the porous dome 14 and then along the container. The product will accumulate in the zone 40 located between the container 4 and the lower end of the cylindrical skirt 44 of the ferrule 42 (at the level of the flange 32). Thanks to the two orifices 36, 38, a circulation of air is created in the cover, favoring the evaporation of the accumulated product in zone 40 and drying it very quickly. Thus, during the next use, no product will flow from the ferrule 42 and no stain will soil the container. The device of the invention thus makes it possible to preserve such an application assembly of this clean type, notwithstanding product spills that may occur between two uses. In figure 2, the identical elements or those that play roles similar to elements already described are designated by the same reference numbers.
Your description will not be made or will be made succinctly. This figure 2 shows an application assembly that is distinguished from that of figure 1 by the fact that the application member 12 is kept under pressure in a support 50 provided with a peripheral skirt 52 of a mouthpiece 54. The free end 11 of the The valve stem 10 is press fit into the mouth 54. The support 50 is connected by its peripheral skirt 52 to the cylindrical skirt 44 of the ferrule 42 by flexible tabs 56. This connection allows a flexible actuation of the application member 12 and provides a feeling of comfort for the user. Of course, this arrangement can be used in the application assembly of figure 1. Of course, the hole 38 could have been provided in the upper end of the lateral surface 30 of the cap or skirt 44 of the ferrule. In addition, a third, even a fourth, orifice could have been provided on the surface 28 of the cap and / or on the surface 30 and 44 respectively of the cap and the skirt. A push button provided with a spray nozzle such as described in document FR-A-2, 718, 720 could be considered instead of the porous dome-type application member.
It is noted that, in relation to this date, the best method known by the applicant to carry out the aforementioned invention, is the conventional one for the manufacture of the objects to which it refers. Having described the invention as above, the content of the following is claimed as property.
