Abstract
Una pelicula de silano que puede ser usado en una amplia gama de ambientes, sobre metales de interes en ingenieria, como un proceso autonomo o como un imprimador para un recubrimiento superior por sistemas para aplicar pintura comunes. La pelicula comprende, de manera general: a) al menos bis-silano; b) un polimero soluble o dispersable en agua; c) nanoparticulas; y d) un solvente soluble en agua. Tambien esta dentro del alcance de la presente invencion incluir un inhibidor lixibiable en la pelicula de silano. En suma, la presente invencion ensena una composicion de silano que puede ser aplicada por inmersion, barrido, rocio, con brocha, u otras tecnicas convencionales, por lo que la composicion de pelicula proporciona un tratamiento de metal que es soluble en agua y puede proporcionar la disponibilidad del recubrimiento para "cicatrizar" cuando ocurran danos debido a desprendimientos o ralladuras por medio de un inhibidor.
