Abstract

Se presente invencion se refiere a un metodo y aparato para preparar hidrazodicarbonamida utilizando urea como material inicial economica y ambientalmente de manera deseable. El aparato incluye un horno de pirolisis para obtener biuret y amoniaco al pirolizar urea, un reactor de recristalizacion para purificar el biuret obtenido del horno de pirolisis; un primer reactor para obtener una sal de monohalobiuret de metal al reaccionar el biuret con compuesto de hipohalogeno de metal o con halogeno y base; un segundo reactor para sintetizar la hidrazodicarbonamida al reaccionar la sal de monohalobiurte con amoniaco; y un evaporador de amoniaco para separar el amoniaco en exceso de hidrazodicarbonamida y suministrar el amoniaco separado a un concentrador de amoniaco.
