Abstract

Para reemplazar el bromuro de metilo en todos los usos del mismo en el tratamiento de tierra o substrato, la invencion se refiere al uso por lo menos de uno compuesto de azufre que tiene una formula general: substrato por lo menos un compuesto de azufre de la formula general: (ver formula) en donde R representa un radical alquenilo o alquilo, n es igual a 0, 1 o 2, x es un numero entre 0 y 4 y R' representa un radical alquenilo o alquilo o, unicamente si n=x=0, un atomo de hidrogeno o metal acalino; los compuestos de azufre (en particular el dimetildisulfuro) se pueden aplicar de acuerdo con metodos estandar de tratamiento de suelo (mediante inyeccion, asperjado, goteo, rociado) y dichos compuestos no tienen efectos fitotoxicos.
