Abstract

The present invention discloses a disposable diaper basically composed of a permeable upper layer, an impermeable lower layer, an absorbent matrix therebetween, and leg elastic means. The diaper has a front waist portion, a rear waist portion and a central or crotch portion, two longitudinal edges and two transversal edges, so that the diaper has a fastening strap joined by one of the rear waist portions of the article; which preferably is an extension of the upper and lower layers by one of the longitudinal edges of the article. Moreover, it comprises two fastening buttonholes in the front waist portion, so to fasten the diaper to the wearer, the fastening strap pass through the two buttonholes for joining the rear waist portion of the article by which the fastening strap is not joined.
