Abstract

The present invention relates to a food storage container assembly for use in a refrigerator. The food storage container assembly 20 of the present invention comprises a container body 22 with a receiving space 24 formed therein and a partitioned storage unit 30 for forming a separate storing space within the receiving space 24. An upper frame 28 is formed on and around an upper end of the container body 22, and mounting grooves 29 are formed at a predetermined interval onto opposite sides of the upper frame 28 corresponding to opposite longitudinal sides of the container body 22. The partitioned storage unit 30 includes a pair of supporting frames 32 which are selectively seated into the mounting grooves 29 to be held onto the upper frame 28, and a partitioned space defining member 34 which connects the supporting frames 32 and forms the separate storing space within the receiving space 24. The foodstuffs are separately stored and held in the partitioned space defining member 34. A n et may be used for the partitioned space defining member 34. According to the present invention, the receiving space 24 is variously partitioned into several regions for storing the foodstuffs therein. Therefore, there is an advantage in that the foodstuffs can be conveniently received and drawn out.
