Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona, por primera vez el uso de organos cadavericos de donadores con corazones no palpitantes como fuente de celulas funcionales como pueden ser las celulas progenitoras o primordiales para diferentes propositos medicos. Mas especificamente se describe un metodo con el cual se obtienen una fuente de tejido de celulas progenitoras, el cual consiste en cosechar el tejido de un donador, en donde el donador tiene un corazon no palpitante durante aproximadamente 30 horas post mortem, y el procesamiento del tejido cadaverico para obtener celulas progenitoras, las cuales se utilizan para diferentes propositos medicos como medio de tratamiento celular, tratamiento genico, organos artificiales, biorreactores, regeneracion de organos y similares.
