Abstract

Se describe un proceso para un proceso de polimerizacion de temperatura alta, continuo, para preparar un producto polimerico funcional de epoxi polimerizado radicalmente libre. El proceso comprende cargar continuamente en un reactor al menos un monomero acrilico funcional de epoxi, y opcionalmente al menos un monomero polimerizable de radical libre no funcional. Tambien puede agregarse un iniciador de polimerizacion de radical libre opcional. El reactor se mantiene a una temperatura eficaz por un periodo de tiempo efectivo para originar la polimerizacion de los monomeros en un producto polimerico, de tal forma que el producto polimerico se forma sustancialmente libre de particulas de gel. Tambien se describe un revestimiento claro que incorpora polimeros de la presente invencion, de tal forma que el revestimiento claro tiene un bajo valor Delta b en condiciones estandares.
