Abstract
Un mecanismo (1) para asegurar en forma selectiva una cubierta (14) a un borde (12 de un recipiente de presion. Se puede emplear una pluralidad de tales aparatos, utilizando una pluralidad de pernos (10) que se extienden a traves de aberturas de coincidencia en el borde (12) y cubierta (14). Una placa o placas ancla (18) movibles, tambien con agujeros (20) a traves de los cuales se extiende el perno (10), esta colocada en forma adyacente al borde (12) o cubierta. (14). La cabeza de cada perno (10) ajustara a traves de su agujero asociado (20) en la placa ancla (18) (y dentro de la abertura del borde mas cercano (12) o cubierta (14) ), unicamente si la placa ancla 18 esta orientada en forma adecuada. Cuando la placa ancla (10) esta orientada, la cabeza de piston (10a) en el extremo opuesto del perno (10), puede ser accionada lejos del borde (12) y cubierta (14) para retractar la cabeza de perno (42) en la abertura (20) del borde (12) o cubierta (14). Esto protege al perno (10) cuando la cubierta es separada del borde (12). El perno (10) puede ser inclinado en la direccion opuesta para permitir que la placa ancla (18) sea reorientada en un posicion en la cual la cabeza de perno (42) no pueda pasar a traves de la placa ancla (18), para que el perno (10) pueda sujetar el borde (12) y la cubierta (14) juntas.
