Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato para detectar una senal recibida de una senal de canal y para transformar esta senal en una secuencia de codigo binario. Mas particularmente, la invencion se refiere a un aparato de procesamiento de senal, que puede desarrollar una deteccion de probabilidad maxima de los datos reproducidos de un disco optico. Es un objeto de la invencion proponer un detector de probabilidad maxima que tenga comlejidad reducida. De acuerdo a la invencion un metodo para detectar una senal (EBS) recibida de una senal, de canal (HF), comprende los pasos de digitalizar la senal recibida de 1 canal, ecualizar la senal digitalizada (Ak), generar metricas ramificadas (b_Mp, b_pM) de una senal ecualizada Bk determinar el MiniMo (b_M1) de metricas ramificadas generadas (b_Mp, b_pM), determinar una union (m-, m+, m0) del minimo (b-ml), y generar una senal de corriente de digitos de la sucesion de uniones (m-,m+, m0).
