Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un método para la produccion de material absorbente que tiene mejor capacidad de absorcion, cuyo material contiene fibras celulosicas, en el cual las fibras son tratadas en presencia de agua con una sustancia hidrofobica que tiene un área de superficie específica de por lo menos 50 m/g, poniendo en contacto la sustancia y las fibras cuando las fibras tienen un contenido en seco de por lo menos 20%. Un proceso para la produccion de una estructura absorbente que contiene el material absorbente, en el cual las fibras de celulosa han sido tratadas, en presencia de agua, con una sustancia hidrofobica que tiene un área de superficie específica de por lo menos 50 m /g, poniendo en contacto la sustancia y las fibras en un contenido en seco de las fibras de por lo menos 20%.
