Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema y métodos de comunicacionesopticas en donde la fuente de recepcion utiliza un detector de conjunto para recuperar datos desde un haz optico transmitido y para evaluar precision de alineamiento con el haz transmitido. El detector de conjunto utiliza los principios de invariancia geométrica para determinar la precision de alineamiento. El detector puede retransmitir la informacion recuperada a un controlador de sistema u otro dispositivo conveniente que luego puede reubicar el receptor de manera tal que se alinea adecuadamente con el transmisor. El sistema y métodos proporcionan ventajosamente un sistema de comunicaciones más compacto y robusto en donde un solo elemento receptor puede emplearse tanto para funciones de evaluacion de alineamiento como recuperacion de datos.
