Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un método, una unidad de control (10) y un sistema de batería para calcular la capacidad resultante de una batería (15) durante la operacion. La posibilidad de estimar la energía restante en una batería que se esta descargando es util para determinar el tiempo operacional restante de la batería antes que la batería deba recargarse o bien reemplazase. La invencion comprende un método compacto y rápido, dividido en dos partes. Una primera parte genera una tabla a partir de a menos dos curvas de descarga medidas. Algunos cálculos se realizan después y los valores finales son normalizados antes de registrarse en la tabla. Una segunda parte comprende una parte de supervision en donde se miden y registran en ciertos intervalos la tension, corriente de descarga y tiempo de descarga de la batería. Mediante el empleo de la tabla y de los valores medidos se calcula la capacidad resultante que se ajusta en un paso subsecuente mediante iteracion de la capacidad resultante y la tension final promedio de la batería.
