Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un catalizador para su uso en un proceso para la preparacion de hidrocarburos, que comprende cobalto y manganeso y/o vanadio, soportado en un soporte, en donde la relacion atomica de coblato: (magnaneso + vanadio) es al menos 12:1. Preferiblemente, la relacion atomica de cobalto : (manganeso + vanadio) es a lo mucho 1500:1. La preparacion de hidrocarburos que comprende poner en contacto una mezcla de hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono a temperatura y presion elevadas con un catalizador como se describio hasta aquí. Típicamete, al menos parte del cobalto está presente en estado metálico.
