Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema para polimerizacion de polímeros en fase solida que comprende un cristalizador, y en el que se introduce al cristalizador un polímero amorfo frío. Una fuente de radiacion infrarroja se asocia con el cristalizador y el polímero se calienta al aplicar radiacion infrarroja al mismo. El grado de calentamiento se controla de manera que el polímero alcanza la temperatura de cristalizacion o polimerizacion sin exceder el punto de fusion del polímero.
