Abstract

The present invention relates to pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions. The compositions are a blend of about 5 to 95 weight percent of an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and about 5 to 95 weight percent of a thermoplastic elastomeric copolymer. The compositions have a morphology comprising at least two distinc domains, a first domain being substantially continuous in nature and said second domain being fibrillose to schistose in nature parallel to a major surface of the adhesive composition within said first domain. The invention further provides pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and processes for preparing the compositions and tapes.
