Abstract
Una composicion poliédrica curable (6), la cual es líquida a 20 degree C y la cual comprende de 25 a 60% en peso de un componente de resina, el cual comprende un epoxi, de 5 a 25% en peso de un agente de curacion, el cual comprende dos componentes, un primer componente que es una amina cicloalifática o una amina aromática, y un segundo componente que es una poliamida-amina, y de 20 a 65% en peso de un llenador inorgánico inerte. La composicion curable (6) puede ser utilizada en un método para proteger un substrato tal como una tubería (4) o una junta de tubería de la corrosion o daño mecánico. En el método, la composicion curable (6) primero es aplicada al substrato (4), una capa de cubierta polimérica (2) es aplicada sobre la composicion curable con una capa más interna de un sellador que se activa por medio de calor (8) en contacto íntimo con la composicion curable, y la composicion curable después es curada. Durante el procedimiento de curacion, el sellador que se activa por medio de calor, v. gr., un adhesivo de fusion pro calor, permanece en contacto con la composicion curable e interactua con la misma.
