Abstract

El conocido agente reductor de plaquetas en sangre Anagrelide se prepara vía un proceso mejorado partiendo de 2,3-diclorotolueno comercialmente obtenible e involucrando nuevos intermediarios representados por las formulas F y G donde Y representa Br, Cl o I. El compuesto (G) se hace reaccionar con etil glicina para formar el conocido intermediario etil-N-(2,3-dicloro-6-nitro bencil) glicina que se usa entonces siguiendo etapas de procesos convencionales para formar 6,7-dicloro-1,5-dihidroimidazo[2,1-b]quinazolin-2( 3H)-ona (Anagrelide).
